David Feldman hails from New York where he grew up making films with friends in his back yard. He began his career in Hollywood assisting 6-time Oscar-nominated Editor Gerry Hambling. David subsequently worked in Editorial on the films of Alan Parker, Ridley Scott, Jim Sheridan, Garry Marshall, Tony Scott, Michael Bay, Robert Rodriguez, and Roland Emmerich, among others. David was hired by Company3 Los Angeles where he helped to develop and refine post-production and DI workflows, and later became Director of Feature Sales. In addition, David produced and directed original filmed content for use in promoting Co3’s services. Having worked successfully in many aspects of the company’s business, David formulated successful strategies that helped Co3 achieve and maintain a position as a leader in the industry. During his years at Company 3 LA, David worked on the films COLLATERAL, THE ISLAND, DOMINO, CAPOTE, and WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE among others. He then moved to Company 3 NY and was instrumental in bringing in many films including 12 YEARS A SLAVE, FOXCATCHER, BLUE JASMINE, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, and SPOTLIGHT. In 2016, he joined SIM NY as the Senior Vice President of Features and TV, East Coast. David was responsible for bringing in documentaries such as THE LAST DANCE, 100 FT WAVE, and scripted shows such as MASTER OF NONE, MR. MAYOR, GODFATHER OF HARLEM, to name a few. He was instrumental in building the picture and sound business which led to it be acquired by Streamland Media in 2021.David has returned to Company 3 NY as VP of Features and is working with the global team to service feature films throughout the world. He holds a BFA in Film and Television from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
