-Facilitated on-field warm-up sessions for 30 athletes in preparation for practice/games and coordinated with coaches to implement active recovery sessions for athletes with high training loads from games.-Conducted on field monitoring by collecting GPS data (Catapult) for all practices and games. Assisted the Team Lead with generating and sharing wellness, training, and gameday reports to inform coaching staff of training demands and player health. Collaborated with the coaching staff and Team Lead to coordinate weekly approaches to training and provided feedback on the status of athletes based on obtained monitoring data.-Developed and delivered performance nutrition presentation and handout that covered nutrition topics which included fueling for performance, nutrition’s role in recovery, hydration strategies, fluid intake, and nutrient timing. Conducted individual nutrition assessments and provided athlete’s feedback to enhance their approach to fueling based on body composition data and dietary records submitted by the athletes.-Coordinated with athletic training staff to modify existing performance testing protocol to assess progress of rehabbing athletes. Conducted asymmetry analysis on athlete data and reported findings with additional insight to the sports medicine staff.

-Educated 39 graduate students with testing procedures and how to operate data collection programs that apply force plates or bioelectrical impedance. Debriefs new graduate students after athlete monitoring sessions to acknowledge what went well and make suggestions for improvements that could be implemented in the next session.-Aided in the organization and scheduling of data collection sessions and assigning graduate students to stations for testing sessions. Data collected from testing sessions were then inputted into an end-of-semester report for student-athlete participation in ETSU’s athlete testing program.

-Coordinated with Lead Strength Coaches to implement a strength training program for sessions of 15-30 studentathletes. Enhanced student-athletes knowledge of the proper technique used in various lifts as well as the goals of utilizing specific exercises to enhance their performance outcomes.-Collected countermovement jump data on the baseball team’s 39 athletes using ForceDecks to monitor preparedness every week.

-Collected ultrasound, jump, and isometric mid-thigh pull data to assess changes attributed to the resistance training program for 13 weightlifting athletes. Conducted analysis on ultrasound data to assess pennation angle, thickness, and crosssectional area of muscle to evaluate structural changes. Data collected from athlete monitoring sessions was shared with coaches via Smartabase.-Collaborated with the coaching staff and sport scientists to coordinate athlete testing sessions in addition to conducting analysis and return of data promptly (within 24 hours).

-Managed department's social media sites (Twitter and Facebook), shared job postings, and posted weekly education tips for followers. Assisted in supervising the main office, sending and receiving department mail, and oversaw the use of meeting spaces.-Developed a plan to allocate department funds to further student learning, drafted forms to aid in organizing requests placed by the students, and created an Excel budget template for traveling to conferences. -Coordinated with 11 faculty members in the department to obtain articles and videos that would function as learning tools for their curriculums they developed. Reports were developed to summarize the shared resources with an additional in-person follow to provide clarification of key information.

-Coordinated with Performance Director and Lead Performance Coach to implement a strength training program for 11 triathletes.-Implemented testing into annual training plan to examine changes in triathletes’ force production capabilities, rate of force development, ability to use the Stretch Shorting Cycle, and track fatigue. This enabled us to update our training plan if necessary and record athlete progress. The Head Coach was provided with information from testing sessions in a data return presentation. Data collection was performed using LabVIEW and ForceDecks software to gather data on different types of jumps and isometric tests executed by triathletes.

-Planned speed focused training program for short sprints, drills and progressions for horizontal and vertical jumping events, and weight circuits to enhance athletes’ strength and reduce injury. Developed athletes’ understanding of sport, skills needed to improve performance, and ability to identify corrections pertaining to their event.-Used video analysis applications on Google Drive to capture, share, and critique an athlete's jump performance in competition and practice.-Supervised athletes during transportation to events, runs at practice, and conditioning in fitness center.-Aided in timing groups of athletes for workouts, getting race splits, and promoting healthy recovery options for post workout consumption. Worked with Head and Assistant Cross Country Coaches to enhance knowledge of workout selection and progression over the course of the season as well as methods for enhancing strength, mobility, and stability for athletes (i.e. Strength and Mobility routine and wickets).
