I joined my father at Salco Engineering and Manufacturing in 2009. As John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." I hadn't envisioned a career in manufacturing but I have found that I like it a lot. Every day is like a jigsaw puzzle that I have to solve. I was the kid who took apart happy meal toys and put them back together. So, I guess it makes sense that I now talk with manufacturers, food industry professionals, heat treaters, etc.; determine what type of basket, rack, or cart they need to store and/or move their product; and design a prototype. One of the most out-of-the-ordinary application that I have been asked to design was a catcher's mask!My goal is to grow this business and keep designing wire forms of all types.Specialties: I consider my specialties to be my creativity, commitment to customer satisfaction and sense of accomplishment with a job well-done!
