A Student with the goal of working in the Sports Industry after college. During my time at the University of Rhode Island as a Sports Media and Communications major, I was tasked with editing feature stories, writing game recaps, producing and writing scripts, among many others. The coursework of Sports Branding, Sports Media, Public Relations has widely expanded my knowledge of the sports world not only from the fan side, but also from the business side. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to work in sports. Sports have always been a passion of mine, and I believe I possess skills that not many people my age have. Being a laborer for the last three years has taught me all the skills I believe are mandatory for any job out there. Hard work, teamwork, problem solving, patience, and critical thinking are some of the many skills I have learned on the job, and believe are paramount to be successful in any field. In my free time, I travel as a Professional Disc Golfer, rated #2 in the state of Connecticut to start 2024! I have played over 50 tournaments over the last three years, playing in the highest Amateur events as well as transitioning to full-time Professional Tournaments two years ago. As of March 2024, I have 5 Professional Wins, have played in three Disc Golf Pro Tour events, and have been lucky enough to be sponsored by a local retail shop, Disc Golf 978, as a Team Captain for 2024.Please fell free to reach out for a conversation!
