Overall responsibility for developing and coordinating the implementation of risk management strategies, programs and projects to identify and minimise all forms of risk.- Develop the risk management policies, practices and standards for application and advise on their implementation- Lead projects to develop and implement systems for the identification, recording, management and reporting of risk and monitor the efficiency of the systems and their application- Provide a consultancy and education service to all divisions/units in risk management to enable them to identify risk and successfully implement programs to manage unacceptable risk.

- Construct and deliver relevant intentional architectures, roadmaps and sequencing plans for Risk, People, Treasury, Procurement, Legal and Finance domains- Ensure the target state architectural alignment of any business cases in the above business domains- Frame fact-based architecture choice sets to inform executive decision making- Support the Technology Leadership Team (TLT) with responses to potential opportunities arising from architecture - Work with Sponsors and Project Managers to shape initiatives - Coach and guide architects (including Program Architects, Solution Architects) working on initiatives to ensure that enterprise capabilities and platforms are leveraged across the enterprise- Support customer facing colleagues with architectural input into potential opportunities with customers- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across NAB- Provide thought leadership within and outside Architecture and Strategy in relation to these business domains- Represent Technology within engagement session with Regulatory bodies and at architecture industry forums

- Design integrity of the end to end Credit Risk domain - Delivery of the design, configuration, build, test and support of various business components of the overall credit risk capability area - Support business units and change management activities and deliverables in delivering and operationalizing the solution, including relevant Operating Model design work, change management and training workshops and material development- Influencing decision making in respect of the NextGen program to support business strategy, from a business design perspective. - Influencing the NextGen progam and Oracle product capability roadmap to support the NextGen target capabilities and Business Strategy.- Provide SME support to other domains in relation to credit risk functionality and the credit assessment process- Business stakeholder management for the Direct Bank Release for those stakeholders primarily aligned to the Credit domain including GMs, CROs and CCO- Lead engagement and alignment with Business programs- People leadership of Business resources and SMEs- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues, and devise contingency plans

- Provide project management consulting, advice and coaching to senior management and project managers across the group in relation to major projects, including Basel II, IAS39 and establishment of a subsidiary bank in China- Program management for the Basel II program - Program management for the IAS 39 program - Oversee the design, implementation and management of the IT systems and business process implementation projects within the risk management functions across the group.- Stakeholder management including communication of program plans, milestones and delivery to key stakeholders (e.g. executive management) at group and major subsidiary level (Bangkok Bank Berhad (Malaysia) and Bangkok Bank China) - Liaison with the respective countries regulatory authorities to ensure coordination and compliance with accreditation requirements and schedules.- Management of Thailand based Basel II project teams to ensure timely delivery of all program deliverables - Establishment and maintenance of detailed project plans- Monitoring of program costs, deliverables and benefit realization- Development of periodic funding gates submissions and vendor contract management - Development and submission of program Change Requests- Governance oversight of related projects within the Group- Establishment and ongoing involvement in Project Boards- Provision of status reporting for the projects within the Basel II and IAS 39 programs at regional program and Group level- Training of project resources and development of project management competencies throughout the Group

- Implementation of Credit Risk stream of Australian Region Basel II program including Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and Exposure at Default (EAD) models, system implementation and change management program. (Total project budgets approx. $40 million)- Design, implementation and management of the collateral management systems and advanced Loss Given Default (LGD) and Exposure at Default (EAD) modeling and implementation projects within the credit risk stream of the Australian Region Basel II program. (Total project budgets approx. $15 million)- System, Integration and User Acceptance testing of new models and new/enhanced systems (43 systems impacted)- Stakeholder management including communication of program plans, milestones and delivery to key stakeholders at Australian Bank and Group level (e.g. Chief Credit Officer, Chief Risk Officer, General Managers and Heads of Businesses)- Provision of LGD and EAD subject matter expertise to regional programs e.g. Bank of New Zealand (NZ), Institutional Markets (Global), Clydesdale Bank (UK) and Yorkshire Banks (UK) Basel II Programs- Liaison with regional project teams to ensure coordination of Advanced accreditation requirements and schedules- Management of Australian Region Basel II Credit project teams to ensure timely delivery of all program deliverables (8 direct reports, 27 indirect)- Establishment of detailed project plans- Monitoring of program costs, deliverables and benefit realization- Development of periodic funding gates submissions- Development and submission of Change Requests- Governance oversight of related projects within the Group- Establishment and ongoing involvement in Project Boards- Provision of status reporting for the credit projects within the Australian Basel II program at regional program and Group level- Recruitment of project resources
