CurrentResponsible for managing the US Direct Investment Abroad annual survey data and SQL database which contains title 5, 13, 22, and 26 data from several thousand entities. Manage, run, and help develop methodologies using the internal systems to estimate and impute data for non-response surveys. Also responsible for analysis and review of these produced tables for data accuracy and quality. These tables are used for internal and external customer consumption on US Direct Investment.Independently manage database enhancement and front-end survey management projects related to the outward investment. Communicate technical topics and material such as SQL code, Excel metadata, methodologies, etc. to non-technical stakeholders. All projects are managed under a production calendar to ensure external customers receive published data under strict deadlines.Modernize SQL database by translating legacy manual database querying programs, which need to be run one at a time, to SQL automated searches which can be ran concurrently saving user time and computing resources. Collaborate with Operation Section Chief to define new database searches to identify corrupt and incomplete data and generate initial analysis of completed surveys. Analyze initial results of survey years for incorrect data and process errors when generating global estimations of US direct investment abroad from survey responses for public consumption. Wrote 6-page report identifying time saving improvements on reporter confidentiality in survey year universe data generation processes across the International Investment directorate.
