Since I was a small child I have always loved working with my hands! Either putting together Legos or building things with an old erector set. If it could be built torn apart and re-built that was me. This passion and skill led me to hone and build on those skills as a student at WCTC. Since graduation, I have held many positions and jobs with large and small companies. As a self –starter I learned as much as I could and applied those skills to further my toolbox. I have also increased my education with the company that offered training programs. This led to advancement within the companies I had worked for. My favorite position was the working group leader, where I was the lead fabricator for new development and Prototype manufacturing saving the company money and increasing their R&D and new Product turnaround. I have a strong work ethic and a no-quit attitude. I get great satisfaction in taking a design an engineer modeled on their computer and turning it into reality, something that they can see, touch, and in some cases destroy! Only to re-design it and build it again.With over 34 years of experience in manufacturing, I now have the pleasure to pass my work ethic, passion, and skills on to new students who are starting their journey just as I did so long ago. I love teaching industry best practices to the new future Welders, Fabricators, and Mangers
