I put my heart and soul into my work and I really care about what I do and the profitability of CSI Electrical Contractors Inc.Responsible for improving the profitability of the business by maintaining and effectively managing drivers, warehousemen, tools, safety, inventory and the company fleet. Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise and schedule drivers / material handlers for efficient deliveries of tools and materials to job sites. • Assist the Purchasing Department with negotiating pricing and terms with vendors for the delivery of materials in the best interest of the company and customers. • Tracks orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery and expedites orders as required. • Manage Tools to insure safety and tool equipment is tracked and kept in good / safe working condition. • Ensure proper barcoding and tracking of tools and safety equipment • Produce and distribute monthly tool inventory listing to each foreman, superintendent and project manager by project. • Reconcile inventory after foremen’s review / project close-out to assure accurate inventory. • Identify and coordinate tool repair and maintenance. Repair resolution based on the most cost effective result. • Ensure all tools distributed to jobsites are in proper working order, complete with all accessories and check that they are returned in the same condition. • Supervise the Fleet to insure all vehicles are maintained and kept in safe working order. • Manage company fleet maintenance and repairs by ensuring all are operational, secure and safe to use. • Support the communication and enforcement of Fleet Management Operation and Safety Policies & Procedures • Coordinate repair of vehicles with Enterprise Fleet Management approved vendors. • Assist in the procurement and fitting of new vehicles. Order new maintenance and fuel cards as required. • Report vehicle maintenance and fuel use to the Division Managers. • Interface with Superintendents and Division Management on vehicle assignments. • Supervise warehousemen to insure tracking of inventories and keeping the warehouse clean, organized and safe.
