During my Trainee period at SAP, I engaged in diverse roles and teams, joining a new project each semester.Software Developer: • Participated in several development projects, honing skills in both front- and back-end development. • For a thesis project, developed a SAPUI5 and JavaScript web application for internal incident monitoring, consuming internal OData services through a separate backend. • Worked extensively on two robust full-stack applications, focusing more on backend development: • An internal package handling application. • An application for the car fleet department, assisting with data management for company cars and consumption. • For both full-stack applications, utilized Java EE for backend development and Apache Derby as a database, with SAPUI5 and JavaScript for frontend development. • Contributed to UI development interfacing with the backend services of both applications. • Involved in complete life cycle of cloud-based applications, deployed on SAP BTP - from design, development, testing to deployment. • Acquired proficiency in backend development using Java EE, enhanced understanding of front-end technologies like SAPUI5 and JavaScript, and Agile methodologies, familiarisation with version control.Critical Incident Management: • Evaluated incoming critical incidents in detail to ensure all necessary information was included. • Routed correctly submitted incidents to the appropriate support engineers. • Enhanced ability to analyse, categorise and manage incident information.Knowledge Management Editor: • I significantly contributed to improving and developing English-language internal documentations. • Authored and maintained comprehensive support incident reports and internal wiki pages. • Developed efficient methods to extract valuable information from dense, text-heavy incident reports. • Reinforced my language skills and ability to present complex issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
