Bi & Reporting Specialist

I started to work for the reporting team in 2017 january. I started as an associate and became a specialist in 2018.I was part of the commercial reporting team, we created reports mostly for the sales team and also for the stakeholders, mainly management and customer reports. About the position:- I supported the southern region: Spain, Italy, Portugal- I handled scheduled and ad-hoc reports: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly- I automated several reporting tasks with Cognos (BI tool) in order to save many processing hours- I streamled most of my complicated reports by developing macros and storing the data in an Access database making a connection with excel files. -I coordinated video calls to discuss resolutions for management reporting---What I used a lot during my work----Excel (functions, pivot tables, charts...)-Hyperion (get the data from our data warehouse, joining tables)-Access (storing data, importing data)-Cognos (automating reports)---What I sometimes used during my work+self-educated myself----Excel VBA (e.g. a website scraper macro, email sending macro, PDF printer macro)-SQL queries (MySQL Workbench, AWS: Athena, Excel-Access connections)-Python (basics, pandas, numpy)---Only self-education (mostly udemy)----Tableau, Power BI (dashboards, visualizations)-Machine Learning (The basics of regression, classification and clustering models, scikit learn)-Database design (1NF,2NF,3NF)-Knime (basic workflows: filters, joins, importing...)
