As an operations manager for PCL Constructors Canada Inc. (Toronto), David provides leadership and operational oversight of the Special Projects and Residential integrated business units of PCL’s largest district. As part of his role, David is responsible for ensuring that PCL project teams are provided with the necessary support and resources to meet safety, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.With more than 26 years of construction experience, most recently as manager of PCL Toronto’s Special Projects division, David has been involved in a wide variety of projects, bringing a well-rounded perspective on project management and hands-on constructability to his role. In the past few years he has managed over $600M worth of construction in a variety of sectors including commercial, post-secondary, healthcare, residential, and aviation. Some of his notable projects include the Air Canada Centre, the GTAA Infield Development project, Harbour View Estates, and the Humber College Learning Resource Commons.David holds a diploma in civil engineering technology from Red River Community College and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. He is a 2002 graduate of the PCL Leadership Course.

As manager of PCL Toronto’s Special Projects division, David has an operational responsibility for all projects undertaken by the division, while also serving as relationship manager for the division’s national partnerships. He leads a dedicated team of professionals in providing clients with highly customized solutions to specialized buildings, renovations, and fit-out work — everything from $50,000 bank teller installations to $500,000 lobby renovations, to $15-million new builds.With more than 23 years of PCL experience, David has been involved in a wide variety of projects, bringing a well-rounded perspective on project management and hands-on constructability tohis role.
