When I were a lad, the IBM PC had only just hit the streets, and my technical heart belonged to Motorola - the strange fascination of microprocessors led me into and out of Forth, 6800(0) assembler and compiler architecture. At a time when I thought I was studying Ancient greek Philosophy I became mesmerised by flashing lights, clicking relays and programmable dot-matrix printers. Bless the days when it was possible for a single human brain to understand the workings of an entire computer and its software!Working with and running teams of engineers, marketeers, pioneers and pragmatists for the past 3 decades has been a delight. So much ingenuity, obstinacy and insight! Thankfully, human nature changes at a rather slower pace than technological complexity, and has always been beyond the capability of anyone to fully understand.Goals? To live a good and happy life, to be able to continue offering the benefit of my experience and mental agility to any ethically sound enterprise that could profit from it.
