Following the acquisition of Parsons Brinckerhoff by Balfour Beatty in October 2009 the business was re-branded under the PB banner. As director, David continued to lead in the successful delivery of a range of key projects across both public and private sectors including new hospitals, offices, housing, and sub-stations, as well as a number of schemes for Defence Infrastructure Organisation.
