I am a Staffordshire-based marketing manager with a speciality in digital strategy and social media. Drawing on over 10 years of industry experience and a degree in War Studies, I manage the marketing and communications for an award-winning brewery and its estate of pubs and café bars.I have been fascinated by the British brewing industry for many years, having witnessed it evolve to adapt new innovations, whilst fiercely holding on to it’s heritage and traditions. In my spare time I volunteer with the Campaign For Real Ale (CAMRA), the largest consumer organisation in Europe. I have sat on the national Marketing & Communications committees, advising on digital strategy during a particularly challenging time for the organisation, and have recently served as the Creative Director of one of the campaign's flagship national beer festivals. In 2017 I was selected by Facebook to be one of only 8 individuals in the UK to take part in an advanced course to become an accredited social media consultant under their 'She Means Business' initiative. To this day there are still less than 30 people in the country who have this accreditation. I have been developing my skills in creating engaging online campaigns since 2009, when I won a Princess Diana Certificate of Excellence for my work on raising awareness in my local community about child soldiery. In 2017 I was a shortlisted finalist in the marketing & communications category of both the Birmingham Young Professional of the Year, and Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Future Faces competitions. In 2018 & 2021 I was listed by Enterprise Nation in their top 50 business advisers.
Listed skills include Social Media, Public Speaking, Social Media Marketing, Research, and 18 others.
