Leading these teams through major inspections to maintain operational readiness of the ship.• Conducted extensive preventative maintenance on mechanical pumps, electronic cabinets, projector display systems and operator control consoles, which during preventative maintenance checks have discovered faulty equipment and was able to repair or replace faulty CCA, wires, or mechanical equipment in accordance with proper repair procedures from technical manuals. During repairs of equipment was able to save the U.S. Navy thousands of dollars by refurbishing or using parts from improperly functioning control console assemblies to repair equipment.• Repaired damage from electrical equipment fires, grounds, and open or short circuits of faulty equipment. Maintained operational readiness of all electronic and mechanical equipment that I was assigned to.
