UKMHAis the voice of industrial truck manufacturers, suppliers and service providers in matters technical and legislative at the highest levels in Europe and internationally. In my role as Technical Director I represent member's interests with bodies such as the UK Health and Safety Executive, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the International Standards Organisation (ISO). By influencing and interpreting changes in industry standards and legislation I act as an advisor and information resource to UKMHA members and users of materials handling equipment across the UK on relevant technical matters. I hold an MSc from Nottingham University in ‘Surface Design & Engineering’ along with Graduateship of The City & Guilds Institute and an HND in Mechanical Engineering. I am a Member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET), a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (FCMI), and have held Incorporated Engineer (IEng) registration with The Engineering Council since 1991.
