Senior Auditor-Investigative Support - (February 2013 to present)Provide accounting and auditing support pertaining to fraud cases to Defense Investigative Agencies.Senior Auditor (June 1992 to February 2013)Perform all necessary contract audits for the Department of Defense and provide accounting and financial advisory services regarding contracts and subcontracts to all DoD Components responsible for procurement and contract administration. These services are provided in connection with negotiation, administration, and settlement of contracts and subcontracts to ensure taxpayer dollars are spent on fair and reasonable contract prices.Audit Defense Contracts for the U.S. Government• Prepare Detailed Risk Assessment for Contract audits, Labor and Payroll Compliance Audits, Incurred Costs and Annual Overhead Rates• Follows CAS (Cost Accounting Standards) • Review pertinent documents necessary to determine if an audit trail exists for all records and transactions • Prepare working papers that record and summarize findings from each audit: including scope of audit.• Prepare detailed report of audit findings, make recommendations and corrections for improvement in operations.• Discuss and explain deficiencies
