Through the implementation of this tool, there was a 40% reduction of time from Disposition to Bed, once an inpatient bed became available.- Developed “Fast Forward” system for early screening and brief focused assessment of mental health patients presenting to our ED. This system reduced the number of full psychiatric consults by 50%, significantly decreasing waiting time for psychiatric consults and enhancing patient flow.- Developed system for tracking police apprehensions (“EDPs”) brought to St.Joseph’s. Data from this system was instrumental in modification of provincialreporting requirements for police, to track EDPs as a unique data item.- Developed high-level design for standalone “code white button” [panic button] testing stations.
