Several years of engineering in the Composite Industry has shown me that development of new ideas and using the knowledge from previous successes is both interesting and exciting Most of my experience has been in the Pultrusion process area and I am the inventor on seven patents related to that industry. Helping to pioneer products and methods including ultraviolet light curing and Polyurethane pultrusion as well as more standard materials in more complicated applications has helped me to see and continue to do and promote improvements, expansion, and growth within this industry.I am a problem solver. My analytical approach as well as recognizing the benefits of a team effort has made me good enough to enjoy doing it. I have served employers as Vice President and Engineering Managers as well as accomplishing the hands-on nuts and bolts activities of design and direction with assorted other titles. I have developed spread sheets that I and others have found valuable in the development of pultruded composites with various fibers and resins. These spread sheets calculate the component breakdown by weight and volume as well as the product specific gravity and other data. As a technically minded provider, I currently do a limited amount of Consulting to those who need my help. When the need has come up I have served the pultrusion industry with travel outside the boundaries of the USA, but my preference is short times and distances form the State of Ohio. I find it rewarding to develop the design of product construction and the design of the tooling to make that product. I refuse to convey the confidential information of others without their permission, but I do enjoy using my ideas and industry concepts in answering the occasional question that will align people in the right direction for their success.
