Production Planner
CurrentI work daily with an MRP system and plan all builds that go into production. I work closely with Purchasing to ensure that materials are procured in a timely fashion and also monitor inventory levels closely to ensure we get ahead of any long lead items that may delay any customer order. I am responsible for giving ship dates on all manufactured product as well as doing what needs to be done to ensure that all ship dates are met or bettered. I coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers to make sure that everything is in place for our customer orders and that it all comes together to be delivered on time. Also, work with engineering on prototype builds to make sure all BOMs are error free, as well as coordinating all proto builds done in house. Overall, I am a strong numbers person with exceptional organizational skills who has the ability to juggle many things at once. I was in retail management for 13 years prior to moving into the planning realm of manufacturing, so my past people experience enables me to motivate and the sense of urgency I possess from years of retail management is hard to match. Overall, I am customer service driven and self motivated to get the job done.
