ADW | Acosta works exclusively to develop and maintain the supplier channel for Costco Wholesale. Costco Wholesale is the 2nd largest retailer in the world, and ADW services it through 13 offices across the globe. Costco’s Southeast Region serves more than 56 locations in 7 states and Puerto Rico. The role as Business Manager is to build strategic relationships with buyers and act as a critical interface with vendors in many areas. This includes product development, packaging, logistics, and finance. My responsibilities currently include 25 active supplier accounts that total more than $40M in sales at Costco Southeast. These suppliers have production facilities all over the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America that I interact with. We provide products for the Dry Grocery, Sundries, Freezer, and Deli departments at Costco. Product mix includes both branded and Kirkland Signature lines. Working everyday alongside top Costco vendors like Perdue, TreeHouse Foods, Bush Bros., Sun Products, and Smuckers provides great insight to the consumer package goods industry.

• Created investment promotions to retailers and meeting sales plans and objectives within a three state geographical area. • Instrumental in supply chain execution by routinely solving logistical issues related the delivery of perishable food products. • Responsible for monitoring retailer account payables, quarterly budgeting and annual financial activities. • Exceeded sales plans in this $4.25M account in each of the two year and garnered a “Rookie Of The Year” nomination in 1996.
