Line mainteance aircraft mechanic.

Worked in a number of roles both as an operator and a leader. Current duties include traveling to the customer, (in this case Bombardier), to learn techniques and systems to construct flooring for their latest aircraft design.This includes documenting current process and performing a trail build. From this I can establish the complexity of the project and set about improving the process to add further efficiencies. It is my responsibility upon return to Schivo to train all other personnel in the processes required to carry out the task.Worked in a class 10,000 clean-room, where I was responsible for the build and testing of medical devices for customers such as Waters and Stryker. This included testing the product on a rig, assembling the said components and performing all necessary quality inspections including release for stores.Involved in a number of lean initiatives to secure ADS SC-21 bronze award for the company. This included A3 projects to address the Eight wastes as well as Five S initiatives to make the work environment more efficient and of course safer.

Responsible Checks carried out on A320, B737, B767, MD80 series aircraft held in storage for leasing companies.Work carried out including 7 & 15 day storage checks, Engine changes on V2500, CFM56 series in relation to hand back lease agreements. General rectification work and problem solving carried out on aircraft prior to delivery to new customers.Daily engine runs, de-activation and re- activation of aircraft systems during storage and return to service checks.Scrapping of aircraft undertaken-duties undertaking including removal of numerous components from all systems for onward overhaul and sale.

‘C’ Checks carried out on B737 classic, and NG. Inspections carried out on areas including fuselage and wings. Flaps removed to carry out service bulletins on flap spindles. Cabin rectification work carried out and cabin upgrade performed.
