Worked on Project LAND 121 3a- Responsible for introduction into service of 2300 Light Vehicles and 600 Trailers, involving testing and carrying out maintenance evaluations. Duties involved close liaison with OEM on all matters regarding fit for purpose in line with contract tender. Investigation of all faults reported through defect reporting system ensuring positive outcome for both end user and Defence. Drafting of modifications, user manuals and repair manuals in accordance with military standards and templates through CMTL. Auditing of manuals written by OEM or sub-contractors. Compiling Technical Reports on investigations carried out including, background to problems, carrying out case studies, auditing documentation, investigating accidents and failures, root causes, finishing with conclusion and recommendations. Amalgamation of all equipment data and entry into MILIS IT system, including the setup of all Maintenance Scheduled Tasks, Standard Jobs and Modification registers. - Investigate, identify and produce reports on components that failed prematurely, making recommendations, where possible, on future preventive action to be taken.

Mechanic duties:- Responsible for conducting medium repair and maintenance of light, medium and heavy B vehicles within the Brigade. Further responsible for management of apprentices during on the job training, ensuring training requirements are met in accordance with RTO, signing and endorsing log book entries. Also responsible for conduct issues, provision of personal guidance and mentoring.Supervisor duties:- responsible for the running of workshop and work allocation of all tradesmen. Updating and forecasting of scheduled maintenance on IT system. Understudy the workshop manager in his absence fulfilling his role as and when required.Workshop management duties:- Took up new position as the Workshop Manager, duties involved notifying the Senior Equipment Manager (SEM) of any procedural difficulties or deficiencies that resulted in non-compliance with policy or guidance, including appropriate recommendations for improvement; advising the SEM of any changes that affect accreditation and where necessary carry out corrective action to address any non-conformances. Ensuring technical staff was competent and qualified to undertake assigned technical activities.- Monitoring of Equipment availability and advising of any discrepancies within the maintenance procedures.
