MEA Central opened in 2017 and has grown year on year reaching full capacity of 1050 students in 2022. I have strategic oversight for:- Behaviour and Attitudes - Attendance - Safeguarding - Pastoral Care including line management of Assistant Vice Principals, Heads of Year and Safeguarding Team -I oversee the CEIAG offer and programme within the school - I am the Designated teacher for Looked After Children - Marketing and Transition for incoming Y6-7 - School website and communications, alongside the Principal - Arbor systems relating to behaviour, attendance and rewards

Assistant Vice Principal - SMSC, CULTURE & ETHOS 2018-2022I am responsible for whole school culture and ethos. MEA Central was a growing school. Our culture is a single most important aspect of our school and we believe it helps students make accelerated progress within the classroom. I lead the Pastoral Teams within the school and day to day safeguarding acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead. I also developed the house system and cultural events within the school, including the SMSC curriculum.PASTORAL STRATEGY LEADER 2017-18MEA Central is a new school with only Y7 at present. I am responsible for the transition and pastoral care of students. I teach the Computer Science curriculum also.

Voluntary Position as Governor at LCP including role as Safeguarding Governor and Vice Chair .

Teaching 11-16 ICT, Computing and Business. Also experience of teaching a range of KS3 subjects including Maths, Geography and RPSE.Head of Year 7 - leading transition from KS2-3 including co-ordination of taster days, presenting to parents, creation of Form groups and delivering staff briefings on incoming cohort.Working with multi-agency partners to ensure the wellbeing of vulnerable pupils including children's services, health and Virtual School (LAC).Day to Day management of 10 Form Tutors and Non Teaching Pastoral Manager. Responsible for strategic interventions for 180 Pupils in the year group to ensure excellent attendance, behaviour and progress.
