About David Gurule
I am a Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience across many fields of nursing. During my nursing career, I have gravitated towards nursing jobs that allow me to take advantage of my critical thinking abilities as I have good judgment skills and I can think quickly on my feet. Being a registered nurse has helped me learn to better empathize with the people I care for, and to have compassion for those in need. Because of my many years of experience, I am able to easily adapt to new roles and changing conditions. I am a 12-year military veteran and proudly served my country as a Combat Engineer in the US ARMY National Guard. From the military, I gained the skills necessary to be a valued team member, a leader, and a role model. I understand the importance of taking pride in my successes but also taking responsibility for the shortcomings of myself and of my team in order to learn from my mistakes and to grow as a leader. This philosophy has helped me become a better problem solver, team leader, and accountable employee.I have worked hard in my life to get to where I am today and am thankful for all the opportunities I have been given. I love what I do and welcome a good challenge. I am an avid outdoorsman and take pleasure in the simple things in life like hanging out with my wife and children or hiking with my dog, as they keep me focused and give me the drive to be better every day.
