Responsible for the setup and confirmation of multi-system integrity for QC environment to ensure the best testability and true end-to-end testing. Reviewed Disaster Recovery procedures to ensure Quality Controls functionality and issues were met. Accomplishments:> Served as Project Lead for End User software conversion from Windows 95 and NT desktops to Windows 2000. Performed end user software evaluation to ensure software packages functioned in the Windows 2000 environment. > Created an Access Database to track Departmental Inventory and Software licenses. NASD Contract Performed analysis on the Research Database. Managed Y2K conversion for Research Data Base, Inc., including conducting tests to confirm online and batch functionality at century change and the testing of data with a year out of sync. Performed Y2K conversion for Research Database system in its interface from the Tandem FOCUS to Sequent. Reviewed and identified numerous code and data errors in the NIBS (NASDAQ Internal Billing System) which led the to management decision to scrap the application early (it was due to be removed in 2000). Converted data to the newer CIBIS and PeopleSoft systems.

NASD Contract Held responsibility for analyzing, developing, installing, and maintaining FOCUS (using COBOL and ENFORM) on Tandem, including the use of SQL COBOL coding. Utilized knowledge to develop three new interfaces: PRDB (Tandem to Sequent), INC (Sequent to Tandem), Centralized FOCUS (Tandem/Sequent both directions). Provided production support for NIBS (NASDAQ Internal Billing System). Led a three-man team on INC project to gather requirements and perform the Tandem. Scheduled the work and testing through the group’s programming (different teams), QA, and production, including Y2K validation. Updated Tandem program to extract new data for the SEC. Conceptualized and developed Tandem side of final conversion of NASD FOCUS data to the new Sequent Centralized FOCUS platform.Accomplishments:> Recognized for the smooth transitions from one application or platform to the newer version.> Acknowledged for finding and resolving problems that had existed for years.

Managed, analyzed, programmed, installed and maintained the PCIS (Patient Care Information Systems) and subsystems in Assembler and COBOL on the IBM 3090 DOS/VSE with CICS & VSAM. Performed installation and testing of the Tandem-based Phamis Lastword application that would replaced the old PCIS system.Accomplishments:> Optimized VSAM files and moved the vendor database files from 3375 disk drives to 3380 disk drives.> Converted IBM database to Phamis Lastword on Tandem.> Developed and tested reports for Phamis Lastword database using COBOL, ENTRUDE, and ENFORM. > Worked on the STC Gateway interfaces between the Lab systems on the SUN the Patient Care system on the Tandem and the Patient Billing System on the IBM system.> Modified and created new reports for Phamis based on user requirements.
