I… Show more My role as Director of The Morristown Neighborhood House, or the NABE as we call it, has given me the opportunity to help transition the programs and staff to a more performance driven model. The programs at the NABE are strong and solid and their community impact is as diverse as the people we serve. My focus at the Neighborhood House is to insure that we strengthen families through exceptional preschool and after school programs, recreational activities, and workforce development. I continue to direct many programs at Cornerstone Family Programs, including Operation Sisterhood a program for female veterans run by female veterans designed to identify, connect and engage women who have served our country and give them the tools they need to thrive.My role at Cornerstone and The Morristown Neighborhood House is exciting, managing 100 full and part time staff. Being part of the leadership team involves identifying government, foundation, and private funding sources and creating strategies to develop relationships with these funders, the goal of which is sound programming and services which are sustainable. Building strong relationships in the community is critical in order to provide high impact, culturally competent programs that allow the community to thrive. Mentoring and guidance from national organizations like The Alliance for Strong Families and Communities and The National After school Alliance allows me to learn from a large cohort of agencies across the country skills to strengthen our community in Morris County, New Jersey. These affiliations have helped inform Cornerstone's strategic planning and Growth and Innovation initiatives. Show less

The bulk of my twenty one years at Huntington Family Centers was spent designing and delivering evidence based outpatient treatment services to adults with severe and persistant mental illness. The greatest part of that position was the bonds I created with a team of incredible professionals. Not a day goes by that I don't recall a lesson from one of my many mentors.
