I have been a partner of Omni Development, LLC and Omni Properties, LLC since 2001. Omni Development is a real estate company that acquires, assembles, develops, leases, and manages commercial and residential real estate. Omni Properties, LLC provides brokerage and development consulting to clients in the 128 and 495 belt communities. My focus is on real estate development real estate from feasibility analysis, through land assemblage and acquisition, assembling technical services teams, managing the permitting process, structuring joint ventures, and arranging financing and managing construction. I am currently leading the development of a 268-unit mixed income apartment and condominium project (40B) in Walpole. I also led the development of 40B developments in the towns of Acton andWestford (444 units), Littleton (224 units), and Tewksbury (56 units). In addition to residential development, I have led the development and leased childcare centers to Bright Horizons, The Learning Experience, and Little Sprouts, as well permitted, built, and leased retail and office space. Before joining Omni, I was CEO Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi Capital Corporation (BTMCC) and directed all aspects of the operations (marketing, sales, credit, finance, legal, human resources) for the Boston, London, San Francisco and Shannon, Ireland offices of BTM Capital. The company’s portfolio included $2B of owned assets and $1.5B of serviced assets. BTM Capital employed 350 people and generated $220M in revenue with an $83M operating budget. Its businesses included specialized investment banking, large ticket secured lending/leasing, and aircraft engine and auto leasing. I joined (BTMCC) in 1989 a banker/salesperson before becoming EVP of sales and syndication and then CEO In 1998. Early in my career I received a master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1985. I then spent four years in real estate development prior to joining BTM Capital. From 1985 to 1987, I developed condominiums in Boston’s Historic South End as a partner at Middlesex Development Company and then developed a 50,000 square foot strip mall in Norwood MA as Director of Development for Kaitz Properties. Before attending Harvard Business School, I was a top salesperson for the Savin copier company in Chicago. In 1981 I received a BS with distinction from Babson College majoring in finance with concentrations in quantitative methods and marketing. I grew up one of six children in the town of Lunenburg Massachusetts where I attended the public high school.
