David Halliday is a first-call saxophonist in the western U.S. As a performer he has traveled through 46 of the 50 United States, eight European Countries, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. Halliday has opened for Diana Krall, B.B. King, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, Mary J. Blidge, and and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. His performance credits include Ben Folds, Brian Bromberg, Collin Raye, David Archuleta, Diane Schuur, Dizzy Gillespie, Galactic, Josh Groban, Juice Newton, Kurt Bestor, Kurt Elling, Larry Goldings, Mark Whitfield, Maxwell, Paul Wertico, Stanley Turrentine, Stanton Moore, The Four Tops, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Harry James Orchestra, the Temptations, the Utah Symphony, Walter Landeau, Jr., and Wynton Marsalis. He currently directs the jazz program at Westminster College and is an Associate Adjunct Professor of Saxophone at the University of Utah.
