Presenter.com was an early leader in online presentation and web conferencing and was subsequently sold to the current market leader, WebEx.

Asked by Hitachi to launch a completely new PC business in the USA. Established a team of high performers, attracting many who had worked with David before. Built an excellent relationship with Hitachi's Japanese engineers; positioned the company as the leader in mobile computing; led the company up an incredibly steep ramp, reaching revenue run-rate of nearly $200 million in just over 12 months.

Led all key aspects of marketing the company's brand, products and businesses including communications; product management/launches, product marketing, research; sales and channel promotion and support; market segments including eduction, business and government; and pioneering new business expansions including introduction of multi-media.

Headhunted from Gillette by Apple Computer in 1984 as General Manager/Managing Director of Apple UK, David brought on a new team that took the company from the worst performer to top international country in 2 years, and, on the way, led his management team to the top of Kilimanjaro. This turnaround was achieved by a focused strategic positioning and bringing on board a powerful team to drive superb execution. It was during this time that Apple UK introduced the very successful ‘Apple Centres’, similar to the current Apple Stores today in that they were totally dedicated to Apple products and the Apple Experience.

In Gillette he brand managed Trac II in the UK before heading up the Company’s PaperMate business, moving the brand up to market leadership.Led the expansion in Europe and later, based in Boston, guided launches into other international marketsMarketing full range of Gillette products in developing markets including, Southern Europe, the Middle East, eastern Europe, India and Africa.
