Alongside UX and UI design, I also offer graphic design and illustration services. I focus on editorial illustrations, brand identity sheets and technical drawings. This has taught me much of my visual knowledge - colour and composition to name a couple, which I apply regularly to interface design. I have worked on multiple personal and customer projects including branding, graphic design, and vector illustrations for Sidejar, Ecolibrium, Flat Pack Charlie, Sleep Like a Baby Consulting and more. My main software of choice is Procreate, however I often switch between this and adobe illustrator.

My responsibilities as director of an electroplating kit company are multifaceted. In day-to-day working life, I spend the majority of my time creating and maintaining our online content and presence. Other responsibilities include customer interactions and queries, running workshops, creating kits, creating and editing instructional guides and videos, and creating an online course.

The first role after completing my degree was at Photocentric as a 3D printer design engineer. I was lucky enough to be given the freedom to learn, design and build 3D printing prototypes. My proudest achievement was designing, building and operate the world’s first 4K TV daylight resin printer. Working in 3D development at Photocentric I was responsible for the development of a number of prototypes based on the Liquid Crystal range of 3d printers. These included two larger format versions as well as research, development and optimisation. I also provided technical support both online and over the phone. During my time here I have also represented Photocentric at Various trade shows (iMakr Desktop Show, TCT, Advanced Engineering, Digical Show) explaining and showing printers

My responsibilities as Production Assistant included precise weighing of chemicals, wrapping and assembling kits and processing customer orders online and by telephone. As the company has grown I have also had the opportunity to be part of a demonstrations team, offering individual demonstrations to large global companies such as the Mercedes F1 team. As a result of our strong team work, Gateros Plating has had the opportunity to sell to a variety of notable companies including Aardman Studios; Asgard studios (for the films Thor 2, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Avengers 2); Formula 1 teams (Mercedes and Lotus); and various other Motorsport teams. Recently the company accepted my proposal to purchase a 3D printer to expand our knowledge of the latest trends of 3D printing and plating vehicle parts. I am solely responsible for the running and maintenance of the printer, my efforts having greatly expanded the company’s knowledge of this fascinating field.
