I am a senior pharmacist with a wide range of experience in tertiary teaching hospital settings. I have an extensive understanding of clinical practice, strong leadership skills, executive decision-making experience and change management skills, and an ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams. I am passionate about driving change in the healthcare system, to find innovative ways of practice, reduce healthcare costs, and improving the accessibility of efficient and equitable care for patients.I have a keen interest in healthcare business and management and improving the delivery of health services. I sought to extend my knowledge by undertaking a Masters in Health Administration, which in conjunction with public health policy, focused on health economics, marketing, accounting, leadership and people management. I have completed multidisciplinary leadership courses which have given me insight into the variability in leadership challenges across an organisation.
