A significant amount of work and public consultation had been undertaken in relation to the feasibility of establishing the Wyong Community Bank® Branch of Bendigo Bank.A group of interested community members was briefed by Bendigo Bank on 22 March 2001 in relation to the proposal to establish the Wyong Community Bank® Branch and a committee was formed to evaluate the proposal.The results of the feasibility study were presented to the committee at a meeting held on 18 December 2001 and it was unanimously voted to proceed towards the establishment of the Wyong Community Bank® Branch.The branch opened its doors for business on 31 March 2003.
