My team and myself are responsible for supporting and coordinating various tasks related to Components Engineering (CE) for Kontron Canada and Kontron America. Our responsibilities are:- Components database management (Creation and maintenance of parts)- Lifecycle management (Risk analysis, years to EOL evaluation, obsolescence monitoring, Last Time Buy (LTB) activities coordination)- Environmental compliance (RoHS, REACH, Full Material Declaration, Conflict Minerals, PFAS)- MTBF BOMs Calculation- Engineering Change Requests (ECR) related to components changes within our ERP- Second source identification and validation coordination with Sustaining Engineering support to improve long term lifecycle of productsI am experienced with the following tools and softwares- SAP (including excel/SAP scripts automation for day to day tasks and efficiency improvement)- Microsoft office suite, including development of excel macros in Visual Basic- Mentor's xDM/EDM- RAM Commander (MTBF)- Supply Chain Risk Managements Tools: SiliconExpert, Source Intelligence- Jira / ConfluenceAnd also processes related to BOMs / configuration management and products development processes (PDP).

Primary responsibilities are:- RoHS2 compliancy (including the understanding of exemptions usage in Kontron products)- REACH compliancy and follow up of the evolution of SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern)- Full Material Declaration- Conflict Minerals and the generation of CMRTs (Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates)- MTBF- Components Risk AnalysisI am experienced with the following tools and softwares- SAP- Microsoft office suite, including development of excel macros in Visual Basic- xDM- Microsoft SharePoint- RAM Commander (MTBF)
