On top of my previous duties, i am acting as a referral point in Ops Team and strive for continuous improvement of systems, procedures and practices of LIC's Operating Model. Besides, i'm actively participating in the design and implementation of changes & strategic initiatives with final goal of embedding those changes into BAU operational activities.

Main duty is acting as a Subject Matter Expert of the Lloyd’s Brussels Operating Model and ensures that day-to-day activities are executed timely, accurately and in line with Standard Operating Procedures. Scope is the Part VII portfolio (21 Syndicates).Principal Accountabilities:• Ownership, maintenance and evolution of Standard Operating Procedures • Standardise & hand-over processes to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team and act as a Referral Point• Participate, review, contribute to the design and testing of new solutions & implementation of strategic initiatives• Investigate, follow up and resolve issues that affect Lloyd’s Brussels KPIs, KRIs & SLAs in collaboration with fellow team members, other departments of Lloyd’s/Lloyd’s Brussels and third parties such as Managing Agents, PPL, SDC, IT vendors etc.• Identify, design and execute controls and KPIs that ensure that data are processed accurately, timely and at the correct granularity.• Manage operational risk and maintain controls within the post bind processes• Liaise with other Lloyd’s Brussels teams to share insights, and identify opportunities to optimise the effectiveness of Lloyd’s Brussels operations• Production of documentation and obtaining agreement to the transaction from the Managing Agent, as necessary

• Receive, manage and administer data regarding brand new or large and complex pool, GUP and captive clients and prepare their annual and quarterly provisional and actual reports • Support Specialists and Analysts in the team when they need to analyze, inform and explain data of pool, GUP and captive clients to the commercial team in the Regional Offices • Attend conference calls and/or meeting with clients and consultants to assist the commercial team • Supervise and assist in the developments that are required to support business needs and internal system (Aware) expansions. This may include preparation of Business Requirements documentation, Change Request, testing and coordination with internal/external stakeholders and support the rest of the team on specific tasks or projects that may require your contribution • Manage more complex reporting activities such as setting up new captives in the system, proceed with run-off and cut-off on cancelled captives, etc • Take the lead and organize the training of newcomers in the team • Be a first reference point for junior colleagues (Analysts) and Specialists on any day-to-day activities • Be actively involved in projects or major system or infrastructure development linked to the reporting area or data management • Responsible for recurrent or ad-hoc reporting to Group Head Office regarding the entire Captive and cession portfolio • Main contact point for GEB management and other depts in case of requests to analyze a specific portfolio of product (pool, GUP or captive) • Responsible for in & out gap analysis for captives as well as estimations of the CQS and any other / related forecasts • Responsible for feasibility analysis and checks quarterly or yearly on the various product portfolio

My responsibilities could be summarized as follows:* Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of including mainly: - month, quarterly and end-year process (i.e. booking inward/outward flow)and ensuring convenants are met - accounts payable/receivable - cash receipts - general ledger - payroll and utilities - treasury * Budgeting - Manage the preparation of the company's budget - Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances - Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction* Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements* Coordinate and complete annual audits* Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
