Schedule all classes for the Humanities Department, including classes in humanities, English composition, literature, communications, philosophy, music, drama and art. Responsible for recruiting, hiring and supporting all adjunct instructors in the department. Represent department on college committees, including SACS QEP, Curriculum Review, University Transfer Advisory, and Adjunct Professional Development committees. Evening administrator-in-charge at the Western Wake Campus in Cary, NC. Provided supervision and support for approximately 75 courses per semester. Planned and scheduled continuing education classes. Developed Wake Tech's Lateral Entry Program.

Program Director for Communications on the Clearwater Campus. Supervised 23 fulltime and 55 adjunct instructors, as well as 14 career staff members. Scheduled 200 sections of classes each semester. Managed a budget of over $1 million for a department that served more than 9,000 students each year. Oversaw curriculum development in the areas of Composition, Developmental Writing, Speech, Mass Communications, Foreign Languages, and English as a Second Language. Administered the Learning Support Center.

Taught the following college courses: Composition I, Composition II, Basic Writing Skills I, Basic Writing Skills II, Greek Mythology, Writing With a Word Processor, Communications I and II, Literature of the Holocaust. Developed the first online course in the state of Florida.

Edited news stories, designed front pages, performed other duties consistent with the responsibilities of a slot editor for various regional sections of the Tampa Tribune. Planned and designed special sections and series for the State News Desk. Nominated for Newspaper Design Award for series on elementary education in Pasco County, Fl.

Designed and oversaw the production of various regional sections of the St. Petersburg Times. Performed general copy editing duties.
