Husband, father, business leader, investor and outdoor animal. Most of my time is spent as a Partner at Ravn, a software development company in American Fork, UT. I hold a MBA from Pepperdine University and a fist full of technical and financial certifications. I am also a limited partner in private equity and have sat on a dozen or so boards. As a multi-hyphenate adventurist, I have carefully avoided a life long focus in any discipline. My friends would describe me as a leader-accounting-finance-technology-private equity-devops-marketing-marketresearch-sales-multinational-real estate-entrepreneurship-business person, my frenemies as an annoying jerk with principles. In my free time, I enjoy riding two wheeled vehicles in the dirt, climbing or abseiling in UTs mountains and ambling about in the wilderness. I am finishing up a thirty year project to learn the Spanish language. Infovore might best describe my appetite for non-fiction and free ranging STEM explorations. I have variously fixed nearly every appliance in my house, built a one wheel skateboard, crafted a custom guitar, read about a meter of books a year and launch businesses - for fun. I play guitar but its like my underwear - I don’t show it off. And finally, very recently I uncomfortably fit 7 pounds of snarky self promotional manure in a 5 pound sack.
