David's academic studies prepared him for a career in music education. David received his B.A in Music from Providence College in 2009, and an M.M. in Music Education from the University of Rhode Island in 2012. He currently teaches elementary school music in Southbridge, Massachusetts. There he teaches grades 1-5 general music, as well as directing after school band, chorus, and musical productions. In addition to a career in education, David works in residential life at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, a summer program for high school musicians. David has served in a variety of positions there, including Resident Assistant, Community Programming Manager, and Assistant Director of Resident Life. David plans and oversees large scale campus events, as well as managing on-call resident assistants.David's additional strengths include private music lessons, percussion performance, and ensemble leadership.
