David is a Project Engineer working with the Buildings team in Arup Ireland. He has a keen interest in the rapidly developing technological advancements currently taking place in the construction industry such as digital building integration / automation, prefabrication and modular construction and advancements in building integrated renewable energy technologies.David has experience working in a wide range of business sectors including;- Commercial developments- Data Centre Design- Social Infrastructure- Building Envelope Physics

David is currently employed in the Dublin office working as a Building Services Design Engineer. He has experience in various areas of design including but not limited to;- Data Centers Design- Commercial Offices Design- Fitness / Leisure Facilities- Facade Performance Analysis- Computational Fluid Dynamics- Industrial Process Design- Level 2 BIM Requirements- Coordinated Revit Designs- COBie Data Requirments

David spent 6 months working in Arup's headquarters in London as part of a short term assignment. During this time he spent working on various projects of merit including BSkyB's new central campus in Hounslow, a masterplan being carried out by Arup that incorporates new studio buildings, office spaces, a health and fitness center and cinema. He split his time between this and the design of a new ten storey mixed use commercial building located in central London, utilising the benefits of collaborative multi-disciplinary 3D modelling to produce detail construction information.
