I have worked at JnJ Foods (McDonald's Canada) for five years. My role at McDonald's is as a part-time swing manager. With this role, I have gained new experiences that I can use in my future career. Management and staff motivation are two aspects of leadership that I learned and applied to each shift I work by effectively interacting with higher-level management, customers, and staff. I can identify and resolve problems that can occur in the restaurant by creating tickets or calls to vendors to get them to repair the machines. Another skill I learned is time management which includes directing personnel schedules, controlling food preparation and service, and responding to client complaints. One of the more essential skills I learned is customer service by offering top-notch assistance to clients and resolving any problems or grievances they may have.
