Operations supervisor of a pallet storage facility with a capacity of 26,336 pallets. First pallets into the location on the 9th of April 2021. Managing the on going contractor works and balancing it against the needs of a new client onboard of 15 loads of inbound per day across 7 days. Manage the client expectations and SLA's for service and inventory reporting.Launch a new WMS at site after 12 months of system development and testing. Ensure that the data migration from the old WMS to the new is seamless with no impact on customer service or inventory.April 2022 - Leamington Spa 3PL warehouse added to my responsibility.Control of a second busy 3PL storage location with 22,211 pallet slots along with the 26,336 pallet locations in the Heywood site, 48,547 in total. Head count of 18 across both locations and responsible for all HR and recruitment needs for both sites.

To over see the day to day running of a 300,000cbft secure data centre. This ranges to operational and financial forecasting and all HR requirements for a head count of 6. To maintain all H&S and compliance requirements needed and meet annual audit expectations. To provide a crucial link with the client and ensure all customer service related matters are meet within a timely manner.

I was trained in the ability to recognise the 3 main learning types and how best to tailor my training to ensure I touch on all of these. I developed my communication skills to a very high standard using open question and closed questions, to ensure I allow time to reflect on a subject and when to move along the falcor scale to enforce my point or Sympathize with individuals in different situations. I was given many skills whilst in this role that aid me in my current management postion, SMART,presentations and developing a succession plan to name a few.In 2015 I was asked to travel to Norway Oslo to train the new team at the Oslo site. I spent 1 week there,we covered the Mapping of the warehouse locations and the day to day running of the facility. I returned again in 2016 for another week to build on the knowledge imparted to the team members. I supported the site remotely in between visits through email and Skype calls.
