• Business partnering Directors and other Senior Leaders with full responsibility for recruitment, performance and talent management, training & development, employee relations and compensation & benefits. Client groups include Manufacturing and Operations, Engineering and Product Development, Product Marketing and Marcomms, Finance and IT.• Line management of HR and Office Services teams – 5 direct reports – as well as managing 6 Trainees on the company’s Graduate Training Scheme• Manage the UK payroll (c. £13m p.a.) as well as the provision UK benefits program (c. £1.5m p.a.)• Lead the company’s recruitment process to obtain the best talent for the business• Lead the annual performance management process to create alignment between business goals and employee goals. • Lead the talent management process, in conjunction with business leaders, to identify and develop our high potential talent• Create and execute the annual training and development plan, including individual needs to meet strategic and operational goals• Provide coaching and/or training on a variety of HR and related topics• Advise managers on employment law, policies, terms & conditions, procedures and best practice• Advise managers on, and actively manage, disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence cases, including attending hearings, liaising with medical advisers and insurance companies where appropriate.• Manage and implement pan-European pay reviews including gathering salary data, modelling potential costs and developing appropriate pay award guidance.• Manage individual terminations and redundancies.
