Designed & built, & installed sockets, davits, rolling monorail, trolley, and roof carriages & drives, outriggers, self climbing slope systems, self (traction & drum) and roof powered platforms & hoist systems w/ telescoping cross-head booms & up to 60 foot reach, rail systems, and components e.g, over speeds, over loads, top and bottom sensors, track guides, vacuum air and hydraulic systems, combination wire rope and wire rope terminations, wall & roof mounted anchors. Those designs for anchors, sockets, and many components are the ones most used in the industry today. Repaired & redesigned 50 plus non-working systems of other manufacturers. US engineer for Mannesman (Manntech) for 5 yrs, US PE for tower units.. --- Note that an anchor is a point for a connection used to service a particular drop - certified to carry OSHA building-maintenance-section-required- load & located to service the drop. A regulation anchor has three basic parts - the anchor weldment ("anchor"), the connection, and the local structure carrying the connection load. An anchor could be used for fall arrest: thus all installed anchors must be able to meet the building maintenance fall arrest capacity of min 5000 lbs. That does not mean it meets OSHA for other anchor uses. Building maintenance fall arrest anchors are different than construction fall arrest anchors, and thus by rule building maintenance anchors must hold at least 5000 lbs. Adhesive anchors lose capacity over time, and the percent is known. Since 2011 all adhesive anchors have been required to be designed for 8000 lbs.
