I love variety and hate standing still. I’ve loved my 20+ years experience (who’s counting?) in data, technology and risk consulting. My career has been shaped by some great, diverse experiences, working with truly amazing people in global enterprise, start-ups and scale-ups. While technology is at the centre of what I do, it’s the people at the heart of why I do it. I’ve built and led high performing teams in all these guises. A highlight has been in start-up land - starting the Aginic (agile+analytics) Sydney business from scratch and with my Director mates, leading Aginic to grow to over 130 people nationally before the successful acquisition by Mantel Group. People tell me I have a skill for translating the complex in a way that business leaders can get. That’s helped the companies I’ve worked with get the balance right between opportunity and risk and helped to deliver value through successful technology change programs. Before pivoting full time into Data and Technology, my career was centred in risk management and healthcare consulting. I've drawn on my financial accounting, auditing and legal backgrounds throughout my working life. I find the combination of my commercial, legal, risk and technology skills to be a differentiator in thinking holistically about business challenges and problems to solve. I love working to make a difference to society, in particular in the health and aged care sectors and improving the quality of life of older Australians.
