Full P & L, Strategic Direction and Operational Delivery responsibility for the Eaga plc Heating Division, including central heating installation, aftercare and servicing and repair operations resulting in the successful London Stock Exchange floatation of the Division within the overall Eaga plc floatation of circa £250M Turned loss making business into circa £20m per annum net profit business through identification of strategy to create highly profitable unit, then through execution of strategy and operational delivery including creation of complete management team. The Heating Division being the 2nd largest installer of central heating systems in the UK within 3 years of start up with volume change of 100 units per year to 30,000 units per year, together with integration of acquisitions.

Full P & L responsibility for AA Motoring Services, including AA Financial Services - Loans and Credit Cards with JV Banking Partner, AA Publishing, AA Driving School, AA Services Centres (formerly Halfords), AA Tyre Fit, AA Roadwatch& Telematics Business. Moved a number of these business units to achieve significantly increased financial performance.

-Full P & L responsibility for British Gas Central Heating Business, Fire Business and the Home Security, Air Conditioning, and BG Connection Business Units. Transformed BG Central Heating Business from major Loss making business to circa £80M per annum net profit through both revenue and cost base transformation, coupled with significant improvements in customer and employee satisfaction.

Responsible for identification of new business areas for British Gas services to enter, from strategic reviews to business pilots to full launch of the new business. Markets included Home Security, Air Conditioning and Solar Heating.

Full responsibility for BG Services Commercial Vehicle Fleet approx. 12,000 Units. Managed Outsourced strategy producing circa £12m per annum added value to BG Services net profit compared to previous in house workshop operation and allowed the business to offload major land holdings that prevented any viable future for the business unless sold.

Vision, Creation and ultimately Leadership of the British Gas Car Unit, approx. 15,000 cars taking the Business model from external Contract Hire to Outright Purchase and establishment of an internal Leasing Group within BG/Centrica with full P & L and Strategic Direction role, Added £20m per annum to BG Group profits and the internal leasing group was ultimately successfully divested. as part of privatisation.
