At my position as Communication Coordinator for the World Diamond Council, I was committed to raising awareness and promoting responsible practices (System of Warranties) in the global diamond industry. As well it was my responsibility to keep myself, the executive team and our members informed of any important industry information. This gave me the opportunity to really grasp the importance of sustainability, transparency and ethical practices throughout the industry.

My roles for this internship were the following:* Handling incoming and outgoing files.* Shipments of diamonds.* Support of the Kimberley Process department.
