I’m a former educator turned HR professional, bringing over 10 years of experience from the classroom into the world of recruitment and talent development. After years of helping kids and colleagues thrive through well-crafted STEM and Early Years programs, I now focus on supporting people and teams within the Department of Business and Trade as a Strategic Resourcing Partner.Switching from education to HR wasn’t just a career move for me—it’s a new way to make an impact. In my role, I get to work on projects that simplify our recruitment processes, help hiring managers make better decisions, and create more inclusive pathways into the Civil Service. I still use a lot of what I learned as a teacher, from building positive relationships to looking out for ways to make things easier and more effective.Currently working towards my Level 5 People Professional qualification, I’m keen to dive deeper into Learning and Development, with a particular interest in Talent and Leadership Development. My goal is to keep supporting growth, whether that’s helping colleagues level up or making sure our processes are working for everyone.
