I'm currently in a transitional phase in regards to my career field. I have literally been working my tail off in the home remodeling industry for 15 years without benefits or retirement. My current career is filled with far too much uncertainty and doubt. I began to feel that the world was passing me by, and I felt that a change was definitely in need. So I started a new adventure, and with it the promise of a new career path to follow. I have always been interested in the world of Information Technology. I have experienced identify fraud after my personal checking account was hacked a few times. Then, I became drawn to preventing thieves from harming others. So here I am currently enrolled at ECPI working on a B.S. in Computer and Information Science. My major is Network Security which I feel is a fast growing sector within the IT industry with a large amount of opportunity in the lowcountry.
