In my role as the Lead Computer Technician at the Maryland Institute College of Arts, I oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the college's technology infrastructure. My responsibilities include managing a team dedicated to the upkeep of all hardware and software systems across the campus, as well as providing Tier 2 technical support. Before this position, I accumulated four and a half years of experience as an Information Technology Assistant at Morgan State University, where I was responsible for managing Library computer labs, multi-media resources, and facilitating technology needs for executive meetings.One of my most noteworthy projects involved developing a "classroom on wheels" along with a comprehensive online advertising strategy for the Library IT department. This initiative generated significant media attention and successfully implemented a streamlined system for staff and faculty to reserve available rooms. The project was both enjoyable and fulfilling, as I witnessed the tangible impact of our collaborative efforts.I thrive in the collaboration phase of any project, particularly when working closely with clients and business unit leaders to decipher their strategic objectives. The dynamic exchange of technical ideas is invigorating, and it's incredibly satisfying to see those concepts materialize into successful outcomes.Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
