During my 14 Years at Atlanta Housing Authority, I was personally responsible for designing, installing and implementing many of the systems that are in place today. When I first started, there were only a handful of servers running Windows NT and Netware/Groupwise. I was brought in to architect and implement Active Directory (DNS and DHCP) and Exchange as my first project. As the network and systems grew, I took on the responsibility of implementing VMware in order to allow multiple virtual servers to run on a few physical servers. Over time, this has saved a great deal of money, as we now run over 200 Virtual Servers and 350 Virtual Desktops on 13 Physical Servers• Architect, manage and maintain over 200 Microsoft Windows based servers running on 7 VMware ESXi 5.5 Servers on a network with over 400 users. Virtual SAN based Architecture (IBM v7000). VCenter 5.5 running on Physical Servers• Architect, manage and maintain over 350 Windows 7 based Virtual Desktops running on 6 VMware ESXi 5.5 Hosts utilizing VMware Horizon View 6.x based Servers. Manage over 200 Wyse/HP Zero Clients• Active Directory User and Group account management. Group Policies used extensively to deploy software and manage settings.• Key Team Member in managing migration/implementing Yardi ERP solution to manage Financials/Operational data• Manage and maintain a separate Disaster Recovery VMware/Windows network which is also used for testing upgrades and patches.• Key Member of Disaster Recovery team responsible for documenting and restoring mission critical VMware/Windows based servers at a remote location in less than a 72 hour window. • Attend planning/project meetings as a key decision maker in the IT group.• Monitor and respond to Server/Network outages and issues as required• Research, purchase, install and configure new equipment as required.• Third Level Troubleshooting/Resolution for Client Support• Provide Primary Support for Executives
